The top-end web cameras have sophisticated capabilities allowing remote management, zoom and pan. Weather-proofed and with the best optics, these camera are the primary focus of Mountain Community Firewatch.

Personal/Home WebCams

Web cameras are affordable and good for personal/localized use. Either mounted indoors, or otherwise protected from the elements, they can offer local views for a sub-division, or more. Lacking the control capabilities (no zoom, no pan) they still have an important role in the Firewatch network.

These community members have already set up their own webcams with views that help us.

MCF WebCams Hosting

MCF wanted to make it simple for the community to have personal webcams, that in turn can be used for fire watching. As such we'll publish images for you. Follow a few simple steps, from this how to, and within no time you'll be broadcasting images.
